Getting decent gigs can be a monumental task in itself, & we're certainly not sure the latest tactic of promoters reducing set times to cycle through as many bands as possible is a heartening way to go.
As genuine 'music lovers' who like many, work hard at our trade crafting songs, developing our sound & expressing a message beyond the banal, the endless drive towards a quick feel good fix before the next quick feel good fix is a soulless $ obsessed vortex out of which we would all do well to pull ourselves.
